Who we are.

Wanted Wire is an independent fan publication about Grand Theft Auto VI and the gaming setups around it.

It is run by one person as a personal project, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, Sony, Microsoft, or any retailer named on this site. The goal is to make it easy to find reliable information, understand what it means, and get the most out of your setup when the game arrives.

What we cover.

Three things: what Rockstar has actually confirmed, the footage worth watching, and an honest guide to the hardware people are buying to play it on.

That means announcements and their sources, trailer and location analysis clearly marked as analysis, and hardware pages that report the manufacturer's own specifications with the date they were read. We also cover the wider culture around the series, from community discussion to the ideas behind it.

Our standards.

We distinguish confirmed information from interpretation, link to sources, and explain corrections rather than quietly making them.

• Sourced or not stated. Every factual claim links to the page it came from and carries the date a person last read that page.
• Confirmed, observed and interpreted are labelled separately. A theory never becomes a fact here by being repeated.
• No invented numbers. No prices we have not read, no view counts, no member counts, no stock levels, no discounts, and no performance claims about how the game will run.
• No hands-on claims. Nothing on this site has been tested in person. The hardware pages report manufacturer specifications and say where they came from.
• No generated product photography. Where a licensed photograph of a product does not exist, the page shows no photograph rather than an imitation of one.
• Corrections stay visible. Superseded facts are kept and marked rather than deleted — the release date that moved from May to November 2026 is still on the record with both dates.
