The Case Files

Every frame
has a story.

Characters, locations, details and connections. The Case Files collect what has been officially named, what we have seen, and where our reading of it begins.

Characters

The cast Rockstar has named

A running record of the characters Rockstar has officially named so far, with the source for each and a ledger of what it has — and has not — said about them.

Jason Duval

One of the two leads of the story Rockstar tells on its own product page.

Source ledger

What Rockstar has said

Rockstar’s own summary reads: “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them… forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.” It also sells an exclusive collection of items “threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story”, and the Ultimate Edition includes hair styling for Jason specifically.

What it has not said

Rockstar has not published a biography, an age, an occupation or a voice credit. Whether you control him is not stated on any page we have read.

Our reading

Confirmed The pair lead together

Rockstar gives Jason and Lucia dedicated folders, dedicated clips and shared artwork. That they lead together is the publisher’s framing, not ours.

Lucia Caminos

The other lead, named in the same sentence and given her own official material.

Source ledger

What Rockstar has said

Named throughout Rockstar’s own story summary alongside Jason, and the Ultimate Edition lists makeup and nails for Lucia at Sara’s Unisex Salon — the clearest official signal that appearance is handled per character.

What it has not said

No biography, age or voice credit has been published, and no page we have read says you play as her.

Our reading

Our theory — unconfirmed A marked launch on the water

A boat with law-enforcement-style livery sits behind them in one official still. Reading that as a pursuit is our interpretation of a single frame.
