Google Analytics 4
Named here before it started.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and links people use. It sets first-party cookies (_ga) in your browser and receives the page you viewed, how you arrived (for example a social post link), your approximate region, device type, and clicks on links such as retailer links. Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off, Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses, and we never send your name or email. You can block it with any content blocker or Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout); the site works the same.
Stored on your device
A few preferences, in your own browser only. They are never sent anywhere, there is no account, and clearing site data removes them: whether you asked for motion to be paused, whether the hero soundtrack is on, whether spoiler-adjacent topics are hidden, and which items you ticked on the launch-day checklist along with your saved setup choices.
The email form
There is no email provider connected. The signup form validates the address you type and stores nothing — it will never claim you have been signed up. If a provider is added, this page will name it and say what it holds before the form starts working.
External links
Video thumbnails come from i.ytimg.com. Players load only when you press
play, and use youtube-nocookie.com — until you press play, YouTube receives nothing
beyond the thumbnail request. Links to manufacturers, retailers, Rockstar and Reddit open on those
sites, where their own policies apply.
Hosting
The site is static files served by Cloudflare Pages, which processes request logs as part of serving it. There is no server, no database and no user accounts on this site.
